What's it all about?

Heswall Round Table is your local branch of this national organisation, which fundraise for local charities and good causes. The members are a group of men from differing backgrounds who have joined for a variety of reasons but mainly to have a lot of fun whilst at the same time supporting the wider Heswall community.

The events that we run include the hugely popular Santa Wagon that parades through the streets of Heswall and the surrounding areas (Pensby, Irby, Gayton, Barnston and Thingwall) for 2 weeks at Christmas bringing festive cheer to very youngest to the very oldest members of the community to  Children in Need where we organised for our very own ‘Pudsey’ to visit children in a number of our local Primary schools, to organising the spectacular Sparks in the Park firework display on Bonfire night at Tranmere Rovers.

As a result of our fundraising we are often able to help local charities and causes with a combination of cash donations and our time.

The Heswall Round Table usually meets up twice a month to try new things from canoeing at the Albert Dock and clay pigeon shooting to a Snowdonia walking weekend and a brewery tour!  It’s also for families too, with events such as a family weekend in North Wales to great family fun days.

We are always looking for new members, so if you fancy a challenge, meeting new people and helping the local community then get in touch - we’d love to hear from you.

I first came along to a Clay Pigeon shooting night with a friend. We had a few pints and a meal afterwards and I met a great bunch of blokes who made me feel really welcome. I knew this was a club I would enjoy being a member of.
